Governor Douglas, the town moderator for his hometown of Middlebury, tried like hell to squash any debate on the anti-war and impeachment resolutions in his town. But the people prevailed and handed Douglas a most embarrassing defeat. But Snarky Boy's insiders tell me that Douglas did just enough to kill the debate to get invited back to Bush's White House. Well, for as long as it remains Bush's White House.Tick, tock, tick, tock....
Now if we can only get the Dems in the legislature to follow the good people of Middlebury's lead and do what their hearts tell them to do, not what the Guv says they're "allowed" to do.
